unidirectional link protocol (Satellitenkommunikation) (UDLP)

Unidirectional Link Protocol (UDLP) ist ein Kommunikationsprotokoll, das für den unidirektionalen Verkehr in der Satellitenkommunikation eingesetzt wird.

Das UDLP- Protokoll ist ein Schicht-1-Protokoll, das die Übertragungsmechanismen für die Verbindung bestimmt. Ein Autonegotiation sorgt für die physikalische Signalisierung und die Fehlererkennung.

UDLP unterstützt das Erkennen und die Identifizierung von Nachbarstationen und schaltet bei falschen Verbindungen die Ports ab.
