8088 processor

Technologically, the 8088 microprocessor was on the same level as the 8086, differing from it by the reduced internal data bus width of 8 bits. The 8088 was designed for control and regulation functions and therefore had a reduced computing power of 0.33 MIPS at a clock rate of 4.77 MHz.
