European committee for banking standards (ECBS)

The European Committee for Banking Standards (ECBS) is a European organization and standards body for the standardization and further development of electronic payment systems such as eCash or e-money.

The ECBS, which was formed from several European organizations, works closely with the European Telecommunications Standards Institute( ETSI) and the European Payments Council( EPC).
