IEEE 802.10

The 802.10 working group, Standard for Interoperable LAN/ MAN Security( SILS), defines a security structure for the IEEE 802 protocols. There are various 802.10 standards such as Secure Data Exchange( SDE).

Other activities include key management, security management, the use of Secure Data Exchange over Ethernet V2.0, SDE sublayer management and the formation of VLANs.

The working group is no longer active, the activities started are taken care of by the IEEE working group 802.1.
