PuTTY

PuTTY is a client program for establishing a secure connection from a client to a Secure Shell or Telnet server.

PuTTY works with Secure Shell( SSH) and tunneling and runs under Windows, Unix and Symbian. The connection setup provides for prior verification of the participant's identity with appropriate authentications. Using the secure PuTTY connection, commands can be issued from the client to the Unix or Linux server in a text-oriented session and executed on the server.

PuTTY is functionally equivalent to WinSCP and OpenSSH. With PuTTY, the individual sessions and their settings are saved as profiles.
