Content-on-demand(CoD) is the provision of individual, customized content by content providers( CP), content brokers, or content syndications.

Content-on-demand can be content geared to specific target groups, which is made available free of charge or for a fee as a demand service. Content-on-demand applies to any type of content: topical from journalists, documentary from research teams, or lexical from experts. It can be used equally for websites, but also for newsletters, journals, books, e-books or compact discs. Content-on-demand is about generating substantial, targeted content on short notice and at low cost to increase visitors to a website, improve a website's ranking, increase e-book sales or other sales activities.
