continuous delivery (software) (CD)

Continuous Delivery(CD) is a software technique designed to make the delivery of software and the delivery of new software versions more efficient and faster. The delivery concept is an extension of the integration concept.

Continuous Delivery software has gone through the integration process with the automated tests and is available as a release version. The delivery process is automated, fast and reliable. By combining both concepts of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery - newly developed software components can be integrated quickly and reliably and new releases can be brought to market in a short time. Continuous Delivery is designed to make the delivery of software to the end user progressively more efficient and faster.

The Continuous Delivery Pipeline( CDP), which carries out the delivery process in stages, is decisive for the delivery of software.
