distributed management environment (DME)

Distributed Management Environment(DME), directly related to Distributed Computing Environment( DCE), was standardized by the Open Software Foundation( OSF) and is used to integrate and simplify network management in heterogeneous networks.

By means of DME, which is compatible with most existing standards, network management is to be unified and multivendor systems realized.
