electronic frontier foundation (EFF)

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is concerned with the protection of personal data in computer networks and on the Internet.

In cooperation with other foundations, the Electronic Frontier Foundation wants to promote the use of digital certificates and thus encryption on the Internet with the Let's Encrypt initiative.

It also addresses the legal and social influences of electronic communication systems on society.
