Glass capacitors use glass as the dielectric. Glass can be used in a wide temperature range and is characterized by high quality requirements.
Glass does not corrode or disintegrate, micro-fractures, flaking or other problems do not occur. Glass capacitors have high dielectric strength, good value stability and can be used between -75 °C and 200 °C.
In terms of application ranges, glass capacitors are typically offered in capacitance values from a few picofarads to a few hundred nanofarads.
