remote imaging protocol (RIP)

The Remote Imaging Protocol (RIP) is a flexible, text-based script language that is comparable in principle to Avatar.

RIP commands are transmitted as ASCII characters. There are simple graphics commands for drawing lines, areas or circles, and extensive commands with which entire images can be loaded. In addition, mouse control and the generation of dialog boxes and buttons are implemented in script language.
