structured audio orchestra language (SAOL)

In order to be able to describe the effects used in MPEG-4audio, the Structured Audio Orchestra Language (SAOL) orchestration language was developed and standardized. SAOL can be used to describe and position acoustic effects in scenes. In this way, rooms can be acoustically described and simulated, also taking into account the frequency-determining properties of reflections or absorptions.
