Co-Shopping

Co-shopping, also known as power shopping, is a form of shopping in e-commerce.

The idea behind co-shopping is that several customers join forces and request the same product. Such community shopping aims to obtain volume discounts from the product provider that an individual customer would not receive. On the Internet, various community shopping platforms offer their members the option of co-shopping. However, co-shopping is also used specifically as a marketing tool by companies in e-commerce. In such a case, it is another form of discounting.
