Xrm decrease factor (XDF)

Xrm Decrease Factor (XDF) is an ABR service parameter ofATM that controls the decrease in Allowed Cell Rate ( ACR) associated with the ABR service parameter Xrm. The Xrm parameter limits the number of forward RM cells. The limit occurs only when no backward RM cells are sent. The range for the Xrm parameter and the Xrm Decrease Factor (XDF) is between 0 and 255.
