connection endpoint identifier (CEI)

The term Connection Endpoint Identifier (CEI) is from ATM terminology. The CEI identifier is used to identify the connection to a service access point ( SAP). In addition to the identification of connection endpoints as with ATM, ISDN with the Terminal Equipment Endpoint ( TEI) is concerned with the identification of endpoints and terminal equipment.
