Like the Intercom Profile(IntP), the Cordless Telephone Profile( CTP) belongs to the Bluetooth profiles for telephony.

The CTP profile supports cordless telephony( CT) via Bluetooth. Here, the fixed part forms the gateway to the fixed network and the mobile part the mobileterminal.

All the essential service features of the telephone service are supported, such as call forwarding, call waiting, caller ID, call suppression, etc.
