memory bus

The storage bus is a peripheral bus via which the hard disk drives, the optical storage and the tape drives are connected to the system bus. In addition to some proprietary storage buses, which however no longer have any significance, buses with the SCSI interface, ATA interface and USB interface have become established; i.e. bus systems with parallel and serial interfaces.
