A mouse-move banner is a small banner that sits next to or below the cursor and follows every mouse movement.

Since it is constantly visible and follows every mouse movement, a mouse-move banner is relatively penetrating. The amount of information is limited anyway due to its small size, so the mouse-move banner is often combined with another banner. Mouse-move banners are offered in rich media, Flash and GIF file formats.

Mouse-move banners cannot be clicked away. They disappear if the mouse cursor is not moved for a few seconds. However, a mouse-move banner reappears immediately when the mouse is clicked.
