open track list (EDL)

OpenTL is an editing file format developed by the Timeline company for Tascam hard disk recorders for the exchange of editing data, which is supported by various digitalaudioworkstations( DAW).

OpenTL format works with mono tracks and supports Broadcast Wave Format( BWF) and Sound Description Interchange Format( SDIF). It can read the mentioned file formats and convert corresponding projects. For hard disk storage, OpenTL recognizes hard disks formatted with the File Allocation Table (FAT32) or the Hierarchical File System( HFS).
