The aim of site placement is to create a direct link between the two websites booked in order to make the advertiser's name, logo and products better known. Due to the thematic proximity and the level of awareness of the website, the advertiser's website participates and is listed further in front in the search result lists.
For example, providers of cell phones and smartphones could use site placement to book and place a web page on the website of mobile phone providers.
