IP distributed architecture (IPDA)

The IP Distributed Architecture (IPDA) is a distributed IP architecture. It is the migration for the integration of existing line resources, services as well as transmission and switching components into a holistic IP concept. In IPDA, the IP network forms the transport network via which not only voice data in the form of IP data packets, but also signalling data is transmitted between the central controller and the access points ( AP).
