ISO/IEC 20000

In cloud computing, the cooperation between the customer and the cloud service provider is regulated by several standards. ISO/ IEC 20000 is a standard that regulates the provision ofIT services. Information Technology Infrastructure Library( ITIL) is another de facto standard describing IT service processes and the British Standard BS 15000 deals with service management processes.

ISO/IEC 20000 deals withthe provision of IT services for companies that provide services for private clouds and public clouds. ISO/IEC 20000 includes a management framework adopted from ITIL. The processes are located in a process model that is used to control and improve communication and management processes.

The ISO/IEC 20000 standard consists of the specifications and codes of practice for service management. In the specifications, the requirements for the organization and the management system are defined so that the managed services provided to the customer have an appropriate quality. And the second part deals with the codesof practice and experience.
