Psion
Psion is synonymous with mobile computing and mobile devices that can be used as PDAs for a variety of tasks, even in WLANs.
The classic Psion with its PDA functions for appointment monitoring, notes, address management and e-mails has evolved over the course of its development into a tool for cross-industry mobile computing that can be used for data collection and transmission in logistics, ports, transshipment ports and airports as well as in automotive technology, field service and distribution. Equipped with the ability to access 802.11 WLANs and Bluetooth, as well as cellular networks, Psion has gained a place in many corporate environments.
In addition to the Symbian OSoperating system, Windows CE is used in newer Psions. These Psion NetBooks are equipped with powerful processors, microdrives and slots for flash memory, have color displays and a full keyboard, with a seamless transition to organizer notebooks with word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail service, scheduler, address book and notebook.
