RG-214 cable
RG-214 (2YCCY) high frequency cable has double braided shielding and is characterized by lowest interference radiation.
The inner conductor is a silver-plated stranded wire 7 x 0.75 surrounded by polyethylene( PE). Both shields are silver-plated and have an optical coverage of 94% and 97%. The outer sheath with a diameter of 10.8 mm is made of polyvinyl chloride( PVC).
RG-214 has an impedance of 50 ohms and an operating capacitance of 100 pF/m. The frequency range extends up to 11 GHz. Attenuation is 15.1 dB/100 m at 400 MHz, 26.5 dB/100 m at 1 GHz, and a maximum of 196 dB/100 m at 11 GHz.
The RG-214 coaxial cable, which meets MIL specifications, can transmit RF power of over 900 W up to 100 MHz, and a maximum of 160 W at 1 GHz. Accordingly, this cable can be used in transmission technology and antenna technology.
