In the Simple Network Management Protocol( SNMP), the Network Management Agent( NMA) forms the unit to be managed, in which the tasks are realized. The NM agent provides services and delivers data to the Network Management Station( NMS), which processes them. The information provided by the NM agent includes statistical and statistic data about the data traffic and performance data and error messages.
