cyber space
Cyberspace is the term used to describe the virtual space of experience generated by a computer. The term can be traced back to the novel "Newromancer" by science fiction author William Gibson and is often used synonymously with virtual reality.
Cyberspace is an ordering space that is accessed by navigation techniques familiar to the Web. Similar to geographic systems, cyberspace is accessed through the information superhighway, paths and links, home pages, mailboxes, and electronic marketplaces.
The virtual reality of this experience space can be displayed via a data helmet( HMD) or video glasses and influenced by data input. For this purpose, all of the subject's movements are recorded with sensors and are directly incorporated into the virtual experience. These can be movements of the head, finger movements captured by the data glove or body movements recorded by sensors in the suit.
Cyberspace offers virtual reality applications used, for example, by architects to construct virtual buildings, cities or landscapes, by doctors to learn surgical techniques and by the military to simulate virtual warfare techniques.
