i-message

i-Message is a short message service( SMS) from Apple. It is available to users starting with the operating system version IOS 5.

With the i-Messages service, unlimited short messages can be sent to other Apple users via Apple devices such as iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. I-Message is a comprehensive application and also includes sending photos, videos, address contact information and location information. It has delivery and read receipt features as well as group messaging. I-Message thus competes with the classic SMS message from telecommunications services and was developed with the intention of gaining further market share for Apple products.
